Or the Low Notes, or those in-between?
Did you sing at school or do you sing along with your MP3 player?
Want to sing in a choir or chorus, but just not sure how to start, or worried that you can’t read music?
We are always on the look out for singers to join us and you don’t need to be able to read music. We are a group of women who love to sing and have fun so why not come and join us?
If you are reading this, it is likely that the idea of becoming a member of Avon Harmony has occurred to you so what next?
Please come along to a rehearsal and you can watch and join in. If you would then like to join us, you will be asked to sing to the Music Director and the New Membership Officer so they can decide which voice part you should learn to sing. You may sing any song you like but most people choose Happy Birthday. Once you have decided on your part, you will be given a simple song to learn, with a teach track and sheet music. When you are happy that you have learnt the song, and can confidently sing your part in a quartet, (with backing from your own part section leader) you can become a full member of the chorus.
If this sounds like fun, come and join us every Thursday from 7.30 -10.00 pm at:
The Dance Studio
Fairfield High School
So that we can be sure to have somebody to welcome you at the school entrance on your first visit, please contact Mandy on 01179 652693 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
